About

I am a cinematographer who has filmed across Europe, America and Africa. I specialise in capturing and building sequences around animal behaviour. While I’m able to produce features as a one-man band (producing, camera, drone, narration, editing), my joy lies in working in a small team of highly skilled and passionate storytellers.

I was raised in small villages of Champagne and Alsace in the east of France and came to storytelling through my passion for cycling. Exploring the outdoors on two wheels, I wrote various regional cycling papers as well as a ‘Tour de France’ Journal starting from age 10 and throughout my childhood. This brought me first to Paris, where I did my first steps writing and filming for major news outlets, and then to Washington, as a young video-journalist.

For four years, I roamed the American continent, covering hurricanes, wildfires, mass shootings, elections and more as a video journalist corresponding for the French TV Channel TF1. In Yellowstone, the Death Valley, the Everglades or Quebec’s Gaspésie, I witnessed and captured the beauties of the land and its wild residents.

Now a freelancer based in East Africa, I carried on my work through Tanzania, Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa. As a journalist, I have documented the use of new technologies for rural communities, as well as impacts, adaptation and resilience to climate disasters for TF1 feature stories. As a wildlife filmmaker, I work on wildlife and conservation documentary projects and spend the bulk of my time perfecting my skills at witnessing a symphony of marvels that our astonishingly still estranged neighbors offer us every day.

My vision is to open your eyes to this vibrant life around us through my camera lens, and transfer my passion and devotion to you — whether through the magnificent drama of animal migration, the poetry instilled by a bird crafting its nest in your back garden, or the elegance of a boxfish navigating the reef.
